DOTEC-AUDIO DeeACID is a software synthesizer designed to support the Audio Units Extension (AUv3) format. To utilize this product, users will need compatible music software that supports AUv3 hosting, such as GarageBand or Logic Pro on the iPad.

This synthesizer empowers users to easily create acid bass lines, offering a diverse range of sound synthesis options. The automatic level adjustment for overdrive simplifies the process, allowing users to experiment with controls intuitively. The user interface is tailored for seamless integration with a DAW, facilitating quick and efficient MIDI controller assignments. Additionally, a selection of visual effects enhances the overall experience, immersing users in the creative process.

The phrase generator is a notable feature, capable of producing an unlimited number of phrases in various keys, synchronized to rhythm tracks for real-time performance. Users can save these generated phrases as MIDI files for later use within their DAW.

An interesting functionality allows users to connect an external MIDI controller and easily assign parameters by pressing the “Learn” button situated under each control. This feature provides a more intuitive way to manipulate tones and sounds.

Starting from version 1.5.0, DeeACID introduced a DJ Deck mode enabling standalone use, while version 2.0.0 brought the addition of Ableton Link mode. Consequently, DeeACID has evolved beyond a mere plugin, offering a fully standalone acid bass application for enhanced versatility.
